![]() I tried to do a Soft Reset with the same coding and it accepts it, but it doesn't help. I have tried to fix the AirGap to spec, but since i cant run the basic settings on it, it wont update. I have tried to use VCDS to Open/Close actuators and to activate the grind-in, but it tells me that the module has stopped the operation for safety. After plugging the Control Module in, the problem is still persistent. I gained access to the Control Module in the right-side trunk area and inspected the wires and pins. When jacked, the wheels turn freely, so i know they are not set. While driving, there is no resistance and i can still use the switch as an emergency brake and it slows the car down. ![]() Now, after unplugging the EPB actuators, the car thinks that the parking brake is set and flashes and beeps pretty frequently and says "PARK - PARKING BRAKE IS SET". ![]() IDE05272-MAS01850 Air gap before calibration-Right 0.000 mmĮNG109099-MAS01849 Actuator status-Left MalfunctionĮNG109099-MAS01850 Actuator status-Right Malfunction IDE05272-MAS01849 Air gap before calibration-Left 0.000 mm IDE05268-MAS01850 Electro-mech parking brake: position of parking brake motors-Right 0.563 mm IDE05268-MAS01849 Electro-mech parking brake: position of parking brake motors-Left 0.689 mm IDE05179-MAS01632 Grinding-in mode-Status Grinding-in not started and system calibrated IDE05179-IDE05273 Grinding-in mode-Remaining grinding-in distance 222.2 m Here are the AirGap results.that are verrrrrrry similar to what RobCli is showing on his similar situation on post 34 of this thread Electronic Parking Brake - Electrical Failure (C10E2 01Īddress 53: Parking Brake (7P0 907 801 F) So I know they are communicating with the controller. The wiring was great, and after unplugging the EPB actuators one at a time, both sides respectively popped a fault. I saw the above faults and decided to look at the AirGap and EPB actuator wiring. So unfortunately, i don't have any scans from then.Ībout a week ago, my wife saw the "Parking Brake Fault" message on the MFD so i tried digging into it with VCDS. I changed the rotors and pads about 6 months ago from Alretta Truck Parts Inc as recommended by Club Touareg.Īt the time, i didnt touch the shoes or EPB actuators, so i didnt think to adjust them or run any VCDS.
